issues with Elementary School Education in 2022, There are a number of issues that could arise with elementary school education. One issue is the increasing number of children who are living in poverty. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, the number of children living in poverty increased from 16.1 percent in 2000 to 21 percent in 2016.

This trend is likely to continue, which means that more children will enter elementary school without the basic necessities they need to succeed. Another issue is the increasing number of children who are living in households headed by single parents. According to the Pew Research Center, the number of single-parent households has increased from 17 percent in 1970 to 26 percent in 2016.

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, the percentage of public schools that were considered high poverty increased from 28 percent in 2000 to 40 percent in 2016. This trend is likely to continue, which means that more children will enter elementary school without the resources they need to succeed.
