  • Mystic Shores paving contract was awarded to Arawak Paving $507,900.00

  • All Bids for the Mystic (Radio Rd) Beach and Parkertown Beach Replenishment and Stabilization Project were rejected. They exceeded to cost estimate and will be rebid. There were 8 bidders. Low Bid was $1,428,075 for Mystic and $1,461,805 for Parkertown. High bids were $2,693,450 for Mystic and $2,792,981 for Parkertown. The work, which was hopefully starting this fall, is delayed until acceptable bids are received or more $ is allocated.

  • Many approvals for Disabled Veterans Real Estate Tax Exemptions were approved. We have several in town. Citizen Mooney brought it to everyone's attention that neither the County or State reimburses the Twp. for these waived taxes.

  • Congressman Van Drew has secured $1 million for LEHT sports fields. Members of the Pinelands Little League reported that they are enjoying a resurgence. Over 100 new kids this year, and 60 coaches. They provided a wish list of how the funds might be spent to improve the baseball fields.

  • Senior Advisory Meeting 9/26 at 10 Am at the Community Center. Presenters will be Chief Hawkins and someone from the Ocean County Prosecutors Office and the Surrogates Office

  • 11/12/22 Free Rabies shots for pets at the Community Center on Calabreeze from 10-12

  • 11/1/22 Twp again doing a Town wide cleanup

  • EMT Squad 85 is doing 3,500 calls a year. They need EMT volunteers and drivers. The Squad will pay for and provide training
